How Does One Get Targeted by a Demon, Anyway?

Hopefully, everyone is getting ready for Halloween and enjoying life a little bit. A few crazy scary haunted houses might be in order, but if you've got your own haunted house, maybe it's not up your alley. I had a haunted house, and it did a fair share of scaring us, our family and our friends. So I mostly skip the made up stuff these days.

If you've read my other posts, you probably know that we suffered from a demon haunting in our house. Or, I guess maybe it was more of a demon infestation. So, this got me to thinking about how one actually gets targeted by a demon in the first place. Like, is it really something that just happens? Do they spot you coming and align the universe to wind up in their paths?

I don't really know how this works. I'm not completely sure, but I will tell you what I think happened in our case.

Before we even came here

Before we even came to our current home, I began doing research for a manuscript. I wanted to find all I could about demons. I wanted to know how to call them (I never did and never would, but the information itself was an integral part of the story), I wanted to know magic. I was searching for all of it. Not only did I search for it on my computer, I printed the stuff out.

The Night I Tried to "Talk" to the "Woman in White"

So, I know that I've mentioned the notorious "Woman in White" that our house was haunted with. She had a thing for my husband, and wanted my life... Horrible you-know-what.. Turned out to be a demon. Uuugh. Who would have thought?

However, before I knew that, I knew that she wanted to be "friends." I knew that she followed me a lot and I thought she was protective of me. It was probably scary to most people, but to me - I don't know - it was... flattering I guess.

Was it All the One Bad Entity?

I have been so negligent in posting lately and I'm so sorry! I've been busy, which is an amazing turn of luck - and I believe it happened because of the cleansing. I believe that the demon - yes, I'll say it now. I'll call it what it was - the demon- was blocking our best efforts.

So, now that I've got this beautiful new stroke of luck - and lots of work - I'm still doing my thing, but I'm also going to do work. Anyway, so that was your first sidebar of the night :) I'm sure I'll have plenty more for you.

So let's get a little creepy...  I've been thinking about the demon. Okay, so first of all, IT was never a she. IT didn't know what it was like to be a SHE. However, IT was nasty - and since this is a family program, all I will say is that it had it's ways with my husband (which really scares him, so he doesn't like to talk about it). The only thing is that it wasn't like the poor guy knew - I mean the THING liked to pretend it was me.

I'm telling you, there is nothing like realizing that there is a ghost (when I thought it was a ghost) that has a thing for your husband. I remember telling people - like how do I even fight that?

The "Lady in White"

Hi all - 

I promised I would write more about the lady in white - and the cleansing of our home, so here we go. I'm going to try to stay organized and give you this one from the beginning. Let's see how it works:

When it all started with her - IT

Now, I've mentioned what the "Lady in White" turned out to be. Most of the time lately I try not to think about it. Like I've said before - it is so, so scary. But, this particular entity had been around for more than a few years. It started after we had been living here for about two years.

One night, Henry came to bed late. I'm a big wimpo, so I'd been sleeping for at least two hours. The light on his side of the bed was on, but I distinctly remember hearing him walk into our room and get ready to go to bed. I opened my eyes and noticed a woman close to him. It was like...  Like if you're a couple, standing close. They weren't touching, but they were close. 

Evil Intent - Evil Entity

I've been busy, and since the ghosts have been relatively quiet for a while, I haven't really talked much about them. My last post talked about how our wonderful Empath friend (I call her a friend - I hope she would say the same!) was coming to visit last Saturday. Unfortunately, she was not able to make it then, but she was able to come on Saturday night.

I talked about the "Woman in white," in our home a little bit during the last post, and worried that she might actually be having a negative influence on our lives. When I emailed Tammie about it, she felt that she needed to come see us. I am so glad she did, because without getting too into detail, let me just say that my greatest fears were confirmed. 

I am going to write an entire post on the "Woman in white" - and the rest of our spirits, but the long and the short of it is that last night we did a cleansing on our home. Our "Lady in White" turned out not to be a lady at all.
